Why is my IB commission payout different from my calculation?
Only closed trades are counted
- Open or pending trades are not eligible for commission or rebate payout. Non-tradable transactions are also excluded from rebate calculations.
Example:
- If the total rebate is USD 10 per lot, the Master IB may receive USD 6 and the Sub-IB may receive USD 4.
- If you are the Sub-IB, your applicable rebate would be USD 4.
Different product commission rates
Rebate rates may vary depending on the trading instrument.
For example, different rates may apply to XAUUSD, EURUSD, and indices.
Currency conversion differences
- Currency conversion may affect the final payout if your trading account currency differs from your IB commission account currency.
- The exchange rate applied during processing may cause a difference between your calculated and actual payout.
Important Information
- Commission and rebate calculations depend on the applicable IB agreement, trading activity, product, and eligibility conditions.
- Rebate rates may vary depending on your individual IB arrangement.
- Examples of rebate rates are for reference only and may not reflect the rates applicable to your account.
