A security authenticator, also known as Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), provides an additional layer of security when authorizing withdrawals from your account.
Security Authenticator
A security authenticator is an additional security measure that helps protect your account when authorizing withdrawal requests. It requires a second form of verification in addition to your account password. The verification is typically completed using a one-time code generated by an authenticator app on your registered device, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or WeChat.
Importance of Security Authenticator for Withdrawals
A security authenticator provides an additional layer of protection for your withdrawal transactions.
Enhanced security: A second form of verification helps ensure that only you can authorize a withdrawal.
Fraud protection: Even if someone knows your password, they cannot complete the withdrawal without access to your authenticator device.
Transaction control: The additional verification allows you to maintain greater control over your withdrawal transactions.
When Security Authenticator Is Required
A security authenticator may be required for certain account activities, depending on your country and withdrawal method.
For Local Bank Transfer (LBT) withdrawals, a security authenticator is not required. Certain countries may require Proof of Funds (POF) verification before proceeding with a deposit.
Important Information
The one-time verification code is generated through a supported authenticator app on your registered device.
If you suspect that someone else knows your Client Portal password, change or reset your password immediately.
