Difference between pips and point/pipettes?
Pips: A "pip" is the second smallest price move that a currency pair can make. It's usually the fourth decimal place in a currency pair. For example, if EURUSD changes from 1.12000 to 1.12010, it moves one pip.
Point/Pipettes: A "point" is the smallest price move that a currency pair can make, and it generally represents the fifth decimal place in a currency pair. It's a fraction of a pip—specifically, one-tenth of a pip. So, if EURUSD changes from 1.12000 to 1.12001, it moves one point.
