What happens if my account becomes negative?
A trading account may incur a negative balance (also referred to as a “wear-out”) under extreme market conditions when losses exceed the available balance in the trading account.
Trading capability is determined by the relationship between your balance and your bonus credit.
Performance Examples:
Tradable: As long as your Account Equity is supported by a positive or zero balance.
Normal (+) Balance + (+) Bonus = (+) Equity → Status: Tradable
Untradable: If your Balance becomes negative, the system restricts new trades until the balance is restored to positive, even if the Equity remains positive.
Negative Balance (-) Balance + (+) Bonus = Equity → Status: Untradable
