Why is my card deposit unsuccessful?
An unsuccessful card deposit can occur for a variety of reasons, including card restrictions, insufficient funds, incorrect payment details, or bank security checks.
Credit Card / Debit Card Deposits
Your deposit may be unsuccessful for one of the following reasons:
Incorrect card information
- The card number, expiration date, cardholder name, or security code (CVV) was entered incorrectly.
Insufficient available balance or credit limit
- Your card may not have sufficient funds or available credit to complete the transaction.
- Please contact your card issuer for assistance or try another card.
Foreign exchange transactions are not supported
- Some banks may restrict or decline international or foreign exchange transactions.
- Please contact your card issuer to confirm whether such transactions are permitted.
Multiple failed deposit attempts
- Repeated deposit attempts after an initial failed transaction may cause the payment channel to temporarily flag the card as suspicious.
- This may result in temporary restrictions on further deposit attempts using the same card.
- It is recommended to avoid repeated retries after a failed transaction.
High initial deposit amount
- A large first-time deposit may trigger additional security checks by your bank and result in the transaction being declined.
- You may consider making a smaller initial deposit and increasing the amount for future deposits if needed.
Important Information
The reason for a failed deposit is often displayed on the deposit page during the transaction process.
Deposit approvals are subject to your bank's security checks and transaction policies.
PU Prime is unable to override restrictions or declines imposed by your card issuer or payment provider
