How do I reset or change my MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) trading account password?
You can change or reset your MT4/MT5 trading account password through the PU Prime Client Portal. If you know your current password, you can change it directly. If you have forgotten your password or can no longer use it, you can reset it using the password recovery option. Follow the steps below based on your situation.
Reset Your MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) Password
If you have forgotten your current password or can no longer use it, follow these steps to reset it.
Log in to your Client Portal.
Select Accounts from the left-side menu.
Locate the relevant trading account, select the Settings icon ⚙ , and choose Change Password.
Select Forgot Password, and the new login details will be sent to your registered email address. If you cannot find it, check your Spam or Junk folder. Open the email and select the password reset link.
- Enter your new password and confirm it on the password reset page.
Select Submit to complete the reset process.
Change Your MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) Password
If you know your current trading account password, follow these steps to change it.
- Log in to your Client Portal.
- Select Accounts from the left-side menu.
- Locate the relevant trading account, select the Settings icon ⚙ , and choose Change Password.
- Enter your current password followed by your new password.
- Select Change Password to complete the process.
Important Information
- Your new password must be 8–16 characters long and contain uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
