What is the leverage of PU Prime?
Standard, Prime, Islamic and Cent accounts have a default leverage of 500. Once your account is funded, you can adjust the leverage through the Client Portal.
The available leverage adjustment range for all account types is 1:100, 1:200, 1:300, 1:400, 1:500, and 1:1000.
Kindly note that if you choose 1:1000 leverage for any account type in PU Prime, it will be automatically adjusted to 1:500 once the account equity surpasses USD 20,000 (or its equivalent in other currencies).
Account Leverage settings apply only to:
- Forex (excluding USDBRL, EURTRY, USDINR, USDTRY, USDTHB, which are fixed at 1:20; and USDMXN, USDZAR, which are fixed at 1:10)
- Gold instruments under Metals (including GAUUSD, XAUUSD, XAUEUR, and XAUJPY)
Trading Product Leverage [As of October 2025]:
1. Forex
- All Forex instruments are traded with either fixed or follow-account leverage.
- The following leverage levels apply:
a) Fixed Leverage
- 1:20 fixed/max leverage: EURCZK, EURDKK, EURHUF, EURTRY, USDBRL, USDCLP, USDCOP, USDCZK, USDDKK, USDHUF, USDIDR, USDINR,USDKRW, USDTHB, USDTRY, USDTWD,USDILS
- 1:10 fixed/max leverage: USDMXN, USDZAR
b) Follow Account Leverage:
- All other Forex instruments follow your account leverage setting, up to a maximum of 1:1000.
2. Metals (including Gold):
- All Metals instruments are traded with either fixed or follow-account leverage.
- The following leverage levels apply:
a) Fixed Leverage:
- 1:100 fixed/max leverage: XAGUSD
- 1:20 fixed/max leverage: XPDUSD, XPTUSD
b) Follow Account Leverage (Selected Gold instruments):
- The following Gold instruments follow your account leverage setting, up to a maximum of 1:1000: GAUUSD, XAUUSD, XAUEUR, and XAUJPY
3. Commodities:
- All Commodities instruments are traded with fixed leverage.
- Account leverage settings do not apply to commodities.
- The following leverage levels apply:
- 1:500 fixed/max leverage: CL-OIL, UKOUSD, UKOUSDft, USOUSD
- 1:50 fixed/max leverage: COPPER-Cs
- 1:20 fixed/max leverage: Cocoa-Cs, Coffee-Cs, Cotton-Cs, GAS-Cs, GASOIL-Cs, NG-Cs, OJ-Cs, Soybean-Cs, Sugar-Cs, Wheat-Cs

4. Indices:
- All Indices instruments are traded with fixed leverage.
- Account leverage settings do not apply to indices.
- The following leverage levels apply:
- 1:500 fixed/max leverage: CHINA50, CHINA50ft, DJ30, DJ30ft, EU50, FRA40, FRA40ft, GER40, GER40ft, HK50, HK50ft, JPN225ft, NAS100, NAS100ft, Nikkei225, SP500, SP500ft, SPI200, UK100, UK100ft, US2000, USDX, VIX
- 1:200 fixed/max leverage: CHINAH, ES35, IND50, NETH25, SA40, SWI20
- 1:50 fixed/max leverage: SGP20, TWINDEX
- 1:30.3 fixed/max leverage: HKTECH
- 1:20 fixed/max leverage: BVSPX
5. Bonds:
- All Bond instruments are traded with fixed leverage.
- Account leverage settings do not apply to bonds.
- The following leverage levels apply:
- 1:100 fixed/max leverage: EUB10Y, EUB2Y, EUB30Y, EUB5Y, EURIBOR3M, LongGilt, USNote10Y
6. ETFs:
- All ETF instruments are traded with fixed leverage.
- The following leverage levels apply:
- 1:50 fixed/max leverage: AGG, ARKG, ARKK, ARKQ, ARKW, BND, BNDX, BNO, DBA, DBC, EEM, ESGV, FAS, FAZ, FDN, FXI, GDX, GDXJ, GLD, GOEX, GRID, GSG, ICLN, IWM, IYW, NUGT, OIH, QCLN, QQQ, SDS, SPY, SPYX, TAN, USL, USO, VGT, VSGX, XLF, XLK, XOP

7. Shares:
- All Share instruments are traded with fixed leverage.
- Account leverage settings do not apply to shares.

Please note that account leverage setting are not available for Shares, Bonds, ETFs, Silver, Palladium, Platinum, Indices, and Commodities. Margins for these instruments are held in accordance with the instruments' fixed margin requirements and are unaffected by account leverage settings.
