How to set up the Security Authenticator Application (2FA)?
The Security Authenticator adds an extra layer of security to your PU Prime account by requiring a verification code when you log in or perform certain account activities. You can set up the Security Authenticator through the Client Portal or PU Prime App.
Follow the steps below to set up the Security Authenticator.
On Client Portal:

After logging into the Client Portal, navigate to the top right corner of the page and select “Verification” and select "Security Management".
- Select “Enable” to authorize Security Authenticator App.
- Download and install either Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator on your mobile device.
- Enter the verification code generated by your authenticator application and tick the checkbox to accept the disclaimer.
- Click "Confirm" to complete the setup process.
- Once the setup is completed successfully, you can use your linked authenticator application whenever security verification is required.
On PU Prime App:
Log in to the PU Prime App.

Select the Profile icon in the upper-left corner.

Click on Security.

Select Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

Review the instructions displayed on the screen and tap Enable to complete the setup process. Download and install either Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator on your mobile device.
Troubleshooting
- Your previously linked Security Authenticator Application has been deleted or you no longer have access to it: You must first submit a request to reset your Security Authenticator Application. Once the previously linked authenticator has been removed from your account, you can set up and link a new authenticator application.
- Unable to enable the Security Authenticator Application: If you receive an error message while attempting to enable the Security Authenticator Application, please send an email to info@puprime.com using your registered email address. Include a screen recording or screenshot showing the error message you encountered to help us investigate and assist you more efficiently.
