How do I set up or manage my security authenticator application (2FA)?

A security authenticator is an additional security measure that helps protect your account when authorising withdrawal requests. It requires a second form of verification in addition to your account password. The verification is typically completed using a one-time code generated by an authenticator app on your registered device

When Security Authenticator Is Required

A security authenticator may be required for certain account activities, depending on your country and withdrawal method.
For Local Bank Transfer (LBT) withdrawals, a security authenticator is not required. Certain countries may require Proof of Funds (POF) verification before proceeding with a deposit.

Via Client Portal

Log in to the Client Portal.
After logging into the Client Portal, navigate to the top right corner of the page and select “Verification” and select "Security Management".
Click Enable next to Security Authenticator App.
Download and install either Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator on your mobile device.
Open your authenticator application and scan the QR code displayed in the Client Portal. Alternatively, you can manually enter the setup key provided.
Enter the verification code generated by your authenticator application and tick the checkbox to accept the disclaimer.
Click Confirm to complete the setup process.
Once the setup is completed successfully, you can use your linked authenticator application whenever security verification is required.

Important Note

For security and fraud prevention purposes, a 48-hour withdrawal restriction will apply following any change or reset of your Security Authenticator App.

Troubleshooting

Your previously linked Security Authenticator Application has been deleted or you no longer have access to it: You must first submit a request to reset your Security Authenticator Application. Once the previously linked authenticator has been removed from your account, you can set up and link a new authenticator application.
Unable to enable the Security Authenticator Application: If you receive an error message while attempting to enable the Security Authenticator Application, please send an email to info@puprime.com using your registered email address. Include a screen recording or screenshot showing the error message you encountered to help us investigate and assist you more efficiently.
